Symlink the file to the profile directory:

ln -s ~/.config/firefox/userjs         ~/.mozilla/firefox/[PROFILE]/user.js
ln -s ~/.config/firefox/userChrome.css ~/.mozilla/firefox/[PROFILE]/chrome/userChrome.css
